What Island View Camp & RV Park Offers

Our campground offers panoramic views of beautiful Lake Huron as well as historic Mackinac Island. We are positioned at the gateway to many natural and man-made wonders throughout Northern Michigan, and we love promoting the beauty and outdoor activities that Michigan is famous for.

Along with exploring the natural and historic tourist amenities in our region, our guests can also engage directly with nature by swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and canoeing the many lakes and streams surrounding this Great Lakes State.

There are many hiking trails to enjoy during the summer months as well as the beautiful Autumn color changes that occur throughout our area.

St. Ignace is the first "Trail Town" in the Upper Peninsula and serves as a Home Port for enjoying the North County National Scenic Trail here in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.

Summer is prime tourist season in Michigan. It brings mild temperatures, and family activities every night of the week, such as music, fireworks, and outdoor movies from Memorial Day through Labor Day, along with weekend events and festivals.

The English translation of Michigan's state motto is: "If you seek a pleasant peninsula, look about you".

We are physically positioned to be sort of base camp for exploring, via day trips, a large portion of Michigan's Northern Peninsula.

Three of Michigan's Great Lakes; Superior, Michigan, and Huron, are literally on our doorstep.
