The different ways people camp has evolved greatly over the years, but why they camp has never really changed -- it's the basic human desire to connect with the outdoors, and with each other.

We not only offer a private retreat to unwind after a full day of exploring and enjoying the surrounding area, we also offer unmatched hospitality and guidance to ensure our guests' experience is as personalized as can be.

Our personal history in and around the area uniquely qualifies us to guide guests to the best of day trips, whether it be to Mackinac Island, the Soo Locks, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Tahquamenon Falls, or numerous hiking trails, forts, and lighthouses.

If guests have the energy left to take a stroll down the boardwalk in downtown St. Ignace, we can suggest many local eateries that specialize in locally caught fish, or U.P. pasties. If dessert is all they desire, the local ice cream and fudge shops supply that perfect treat. Maybe they just feel like relaxing by the fire pit to roast a hot dog or fashion a yummy S'more. Our camp store can provide the makings for this fireside delight.

As the owners, Pete and Kathy will be the day-to-day onsite face of Island View Camp and RV Park. We will be available to see that the quality service our customers deserve is delivered every day.

Our goal is to "WOW" our guests with superior personal service. Our own vacation experience tells us that this kind of personal service results in highly satisfied customers, return visits, and positive word-of mouth advertsing. No amount of $$$'s spent on advertisng can give you this same result.
